The Niramaya Project is a collaborative initiative between the **Department of Swasthavrutta at Ashtamgam Ayurveda Vidyapeedham and the CASIRA aimed at promoting physical activity among school children. With non-communicable diseases on the rise, especially due to physical inactivity, this project targets students, parents, and teachers to foster awareness and improve practices surrounding physical education. Through a structured six-week intervention program, students are engaged in regular physical training, supported by interactive sessions that emphasize the importance of health, exercise, and well-being. The project seeks to create a cultural shift by making physical activity an integral part of the school curriculum, ensuring inclusivity and long-term health benefits. By working closely with students and educators, the KAP Project strives to reduce the prevalence of lifestyle diseases and cultivate healthier habits in future generations.
